Modigliani

This is my revised Modigliani. I pulled the basket weave pattern from just the shoulder to up the neck right under the chin to pull the eyes up. I added more of that little circle pattern on the bottom cheek for no particular reason other than I think it looks good. I like this finished/revised version better than the first one...now onto my homework!

It's A Jungle Out There!

I got really bored over the weekend and took my Dunny (http://www.kidrobot.com, look them up) to Tuthill Park and hid him in different places in the park. My favorite part of this picture is how close I was able to get without him blurring and how green it is. He's sort of framed in the grass like he's lost in the jungle.

Definition: Dunny is an action figure made of soft, smooth vinyl. Dunny was created to be customized in a broad variety of styles by diverse artists working in different mediums.

Self-Portrait Assingment

I chose to take my self-portrait in the little spigot-thingy attached to my sink. The way the reflection everything behind me bends in the spigot gives it a sense of depth/space. The camera and I are framed in the edges of the spigot. I chose to put it in black & white with a yellow filter ( the original is in color) because the color version had some color glare.
